Saturday 20th April is a massive day for everyone involved at the GFKC as we are extending the HQ into a fresh new building. We are very excited to announce the following features that will be available for all to use:
- A 90M2 MATTED TRAINING AREA DESIGNATED TO THE POINT FIGHTING DISCIPLINE
- A 90M2 MATTED TRAINING AREA WITH AN 18FT BOXING RING & PUNCH BAG AREA DEDICATED TO RING SPORTS
- A MAIN RECEPTION AREA WITH TEA, COFFEE AND LIGHT REFRESHMENTS FOR SALE WITH TV
- 2 OFFICE STATIONS FOR INDIVIDUAL TRAINING ANALYSIS
- FULLY EQUIPPED CARDIO & FITNESS TRAINING AREA
- CHANGING AREAS
- A SPECTATORS VIEWING AREA
The official opening ceremony will take place at 11:30am inside the new reception area and the Mayor of North East Lincolnshire will be in attendance to cut the ribbon for us!

We also have a very special sponsored event taking place inside both of the new gyms at the same time which is 100 rounds of pad work (50 rounds for you and 50 for your partner)! Each round will be 1.5 minutes long with 30 seconds to change over to your partner. The event will last for 3 hours and 20 minutes and will start at 1pm. All students are invited to take part in this event including the ninja’s who can also get their parents involved to hold their pads for them. The event is £10 per person to enter and all money raised will go towards brand new equipment for all students to use in the new training facilities!
