The Grimsby Freestyle kickboxing club’s fight team the Grimsby Strike Team travelled to Northants on Sunday 24th May for another battle of the best competition the country has to offer and stamped their authority on the day by bringing home a host of silverware.
There were 16 members of the strike team that made the journey all of different experience levels and ages. The talent on show was just great to see and the fighters from Grimsby were there to do business!
All of the team performed and fought well and as a total result, the strike team came home with 2 gold places, 5 silver places and 3 bronze placings. With the level of fighters that were there to win the Grimsby strike team did an amazing job and whether it was a win or a loss they all have that little bit more experience to take back to the gym and train hard ready for the next competition.
